AMSTERDAM, Netherlands– WorldPride Music Festival delivered one of the year’s biggest pop culture surprises on Saturday night as Madonna welcomed Kylie Minogue to the stage for an unexpected collaboration at AFAS Live. The longtime friends unveiled a brand-new song together, creating a standout moment during Madonna’s Club Confessions event produced by Jake Resnicow in partnership with Insomniac.
Held during Amsterdam’s iconic Canal Parade festivities, the sold out 6,000-capacity venue erupted as Madonna made her entrance, opening the night with her signature confidence before leading a celebration centered on LGBTQ+ pride, unity, and self-expression. Throughout the performance, she was joined by acclaimed producer and longtime collaborator Stuart Price, while Grammy Award-winning DJ Honey Dijon kept the energy going with a dance-filled set.
The performance marked Madonna’s return to the WorldPride stage for the first time since her headline appearance at WorldPride New York in 2019. It also represented the debut of Club Confessions as an official WorldPride event, with Kylie Minogue’s surprise appearance making the evening even more memorable for fans.
The celebration closed a massive two-night festival featuring performances from Paris Hilton, Bebe Rexha, Purple Disco Machine, Oliver Heldens, and a lineup of international dance and pop artists. Adding another milestone to the weekend, WorldPride Music Festival also earned an official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® title for releasing the most confetti in one minute.

Following its landmark Amsterdam edition, the WorldPride Music Festival is set to continue its global celebration in Miami, Florida, where it will take over Factory Town in February 2027. The upcoming event promises an immersive, open-air experience spanning multiple stages and running from sunset until sunrise, marking the festival’s first Pride-themed transformation of the renowned seven-acre venue.
Each edition of WorldPride is hosted in a different city around the world, bringing together communities through parades, live music, cultural events, and human rights programming that champions LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion. Amsterdam’s selection as the 2026 host carries special significance, as it coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Netherlands becoming the first country to legalize same-sex marriage.
Beyond its music lineup, the festival continues to support LGBTQ+ advocacy by raising funds for InterPride, helping strengthen Pride organizations across the globe and expanding access to resources that promote visibility, equality, and community support in regions where Pride celebrations remain especially meaningful.
