Autumn Academy released their brand new single “The Break” that feels like a bomb that’s ready to explode due to high intense lyricism. The clean vocals can represent the denial and the vulnerability of wanting to keep trying to keep a relationship alive, but at the end of day; the relationship is not savable. There’s pleading and desperation in the vocals, but the track brings the listener on a journey of repeated patterns and circling back to all the old memories.
“The Break” has such emotional escalation and it increase as the track does and when the harsher vocals comes in place; it’s the narrator finally realizing it’s time to let go. The harsh vocals represents realization with a slight tone of anger behind it to prove a point
