Our Story
LoudHER Media is an independent, women-led music publication dedicated to amplifying voices throughout the industry.
We believe music journalism should be authentic, passionate, and representative of the individuals working behind the scenes. Through thoughtful interviews, exclusive features, live show coverage, and reviews of upcoming albums and EPs, we’re building a community united by a shared love of music.
Our goal is to give artists and creatives a welcoming outlet while helping more women pursue opportunities throughout the music industry.

For three years, I traveled across the United States as a photographer for several music outlets while pursuing my dream. I created LoudHER Media to showcase my passion for writing and interviewing musicians around the world.
I’ve learned so much from my previous editors, and I continue to assist them whenever I can because we all want to see one another succeed. We’re here to give creatives a welcoming outlet without judgment and help them discover more opportunities throughout the industry.

Music is more than a hobby for me—it’s a way of life. I’m passionate about live music and spend much of my free time at concerts and festivals across the Southeast. Whether it’s a packed arena, an intimate venue, or a multi-day festival, I love capturing the energy and emotion that make live music special.
Based in Alabama, I regularly travel throughout the state and am available to travel to Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Louisiana, and Kentucky. My goal is to preserve the excitement of live events and tell the story behind every performance through authentic, dynamic images.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me in the crowd discovering new artists, supporting local music scenes, and planning my next concert adventure.

Hey, I’m Sam, the owner and photographer behind Samantha McFarland Photography. I’m based in Huntsville, Alabama, but I’m always excited to travel throughout Tennessee and beyond.
At my core, I’m a storytelling photographer. I look beyond the obvious moments, searching for subtle details, raw emotion, and genuine connections that come together to tell a complete story.
Music has always been a form of therapy for me, just like photography. Both have the power to make people feel something long after the moment has passed. Concert photography gives me the opportunity to combine my two greatest passions and create powerful, emotion-filled stories through my camera.
With three years of professional experience in photography, editing, and visual storytelling, I’ve developed a strong eye for authentic moments and images that leave a lasting impact. I’m excited to contribute my creativity, passion, and work ethic to the LoudHER Media sisterhood while continuing to grow alongside an inspiring community of women in music.
