From Corpus Christi, Texas, IDENTITY CRISIS are carving out their own place in the alternative-rock landscape with a sound that carries the grit of ’90s grunge without getting trapped in the past. The trio Reece Gonzales on vocals, Parker Menck on guitar, and James Kremling on bass combine massive riffs, emotional intensity, and unfiltered songwriting into a style that feels both nostalgic and distinctly present-day.
The band’s appeal lies in their ability to capture what made alternative rock so powerful in the first place while giving it a fresh perspective. There is plenty of distortion and guitar-driven weight, but underneath it is a strong sense of vulnerability that keeps the music from feeling like a simple throwback.
