Nashville roots-rock outfit Sidecar is opening a new chapter with the release of their latest single, “Fine.” Available now across major streaming platforms, the track offers a glimpse into the band’s more acoustic-leaning side while preserving the storytelling and full-band energy that have become central to their sound.
With “Fine,” Sidecar expands beyond their rock foundation, incorporating a more stripped-back and stylized approach without losing the vivid imagery and narrative quality found throughout their songwriting. The result is a track that highlights another dimension of the band’s musical identity.
Sidecar’s sound sits at the intersection of Americana, classic rock, and indie roots, combining soulful melodies and expressive songwriting with the grit and drive of a live rock band. Their music balances detailed musicianship with a sense of honesty, creating songs that feel lived-in rather than overly polished.
The group came together in 2025, bringing together five experienced Nashville musicians: Gabe Gowen on lead vocals, Anders Hansson on lead guitar, Ben Jones on bass, Jeff Ward on keys, and Dylan Duffy on drums. With each member bringing experience from different parts of Nashville’s music community, the band has developed a layered approach that gives space to both powerful vocals and intricate instrumentation.
Following their debut television appearance and continued growth within the Nashville scene, Sidecar is steadily building an audience while carving out their own place within the Americana and roots-rock landscape. “Fine” adds another piece to that developing sound, showcasing a band willing to explore new textures while staying connected to the storytelling at their core.
