Japanese rock powerhouse RADWIMPS are giving fans another chance to relive one of the band’s biggest milestone performances with the premiere of the live performance video for “Tamamono“ from their RADWIMPS 20th ANNIVERSARY LIVE TOUR. The performance arrives ahead of the full concert’s worldwide release on Netflix, which debuted on June 20.
Filmed at Tokyo’s Ariake Arena on Dec. 27, 2025, the concert captures the final stop of the band’s sold-out anniversary tour celebrating two decades together. Across 17 arena performances in nine major cities throughout Japan, RADWIMPS marked the occasion with a career-spanning setlist featuring 21 songs, including an encore.
Alongside fan favorites like “Sparkle,” “Tummy,” and “Iindesuka?“, the band also showcased material from their latest album, Anew, including “MAAFAKA,” “Tamamono,” and “Hitsu Zetsu.” The carefully curated set highlighted both the band’s evolution and the songs that have defined their career over the last 20 years.
One of the evening’s most emotional moments came during the encore, when drummer Satoshi Yamaguchi, who remains on hiatus, made a surprise appearance to perform the band’s major-label debut single, “25kome No Senshokutai.” His return to the stage made the anniversary celebration even more meaningful for longtime fans in attendance.
RADWIMPS also confirmed that the performance will receive a Blu-ray and DVD release on Aug. 12. The physical edition expands on the Ariake Arena concert with exclusive bonus content, including collaborations with BUMP OF CHICKEN, Vaundy, and YOASOBI, recorded during the band’s three-night run at Yokohama Arena in November 2025.
Additional bonus performances include “How should I,” recorded in Nagano, and “Echo in the Ruins,” captured in Nagoya—two songs from Anew that were not part of the Ariake Arena setlist.
International fans won’t have to wait long to secure a copy, as pre-orders for the Blu-ray and DVD will soon open through the Official RADWIMPS Overseas Store, with more information expected in the coming weeks.

Since forming in 2001, RADWIMPS have grown into one of Japan’s most celebrated rock bands. After making their major-label debut in 2005, the group quickly built a devoted following, particularly among younger audiences, and has since released nine studio albums.
The band’s global profile skyrocketed through its long-running collaboration with acclaimed filmmaker Makoto Shinkai, composing the music for the blockbuster animated films Your Name., Weathering with You, and Suzume. Their work on all three films earned widespread international recognition, along with the Best Original Score award at the Japanese Academy Awards.
Following the worldwide release of Suzume, RADWIMPS took their music across the globe with sold-out tours throughout North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia in 2023 before expanding their international run with additional dates across Asia and Latin America in 2024.
The band’s momentum continued into 2025 as they celebrated the 20th anniversary of their major-label debut with the release of their chart-topping album Anew, which debuted at No. 1 and received widespread critical acclaim. The milestone year also included a nationwide arena tour across Japan and the release of Dear Jubilee -RADWIMPS TRIBUTE-, a 14-track tribute album featuring an impressive lineup of leading Japanese artists reimagining some of the band’s most beloved songs.
