Park Hills Circle has officially arrived with the release of their debut album, All of a Sudden, available now via Pravda Records. Created by Alaskan-Irish artist Maris O’Tierney, the album is a deeply personal reflection on healing, self-discovery, and the quiet strength that emerges after life’s most difficult chapters.
Blending atmospheric folk-pop with touches of jazz and lush, cinematic textures, All of a Sudden showcases Maris‘ diverse musical background as a classically trained guitarist and soprano. Intricate fingerpicked guitar work, layered vocal harmonies, and expansive arrangements come together to create a sound that feels both intimate and immersive. The album also carries the influence of the landscapes that shaped her from Ireland’s rugged coastlines and rich storytelling traditions to the vast wilderness of Alaska.
The record also marks the beginning of a new creative chapter. After spending years writing, recording, and touring alongside her twin sister Bryce in the duo Maeve & Quinn, Maris found herself navigating life on her own. That transition paired with a renewed focus on mental well-being, meaningful relationships, and reconnecting with her classical roots inspired a fresh artistic direction. Drawing on opera, fingerstyle guitar, piano, and loop-driven arrangements, she built Park Hills Circle into a project that embraces vulnerability while looking confidently toward the future.
“Spring Is Here” pairs warm, rolling fingerpicked guitar with subtle jazz influences to capture the quiet beauty of rediscovering self-worth.
