Meaning “little island of peace,” ISLA TRANQUILITA is a heartfelt tribute to CASANDRA’s Cuban roots and the late great-aunt Teresa who helped preserve those traditions throughout her childhood in Miami. Teresa’s gentle reminder to stay “tranquilita” during moments of uncertainty became a lifelong source of comfort, encouraging CASANDRA to find peace even within life’s most chaotic moments. Now, she transforms that message into music, creating a space where family history, cultural identity, and personal healing can exist freely and beautifully.
Blending contemporary R&B, Cuban soul, alt-pop, and electronic textures, ISLA TRANQUILITA feels like stepping into a vivid dreamscape.
