On their debut full-length Lost In Maine, New England hardcore outfit Stab delivers an album that feels deeply rooted in both place and emotion. Blending melodic hardcore with driving riffs and emotionally charged lyrics, the record embraces the grit of the region that shaped the band while creating something that feels authentic rather than nostalgic for nostalgia’s sake.
From the opening moments, Lost In Maine thrives on urgency. Thick guitar tones, pounding rhythms, and gang vocals make every chorus feel tailor-made for packed venues, circle pits, and crowd singalongs. The band understands the balance between melody and aggression, allowing infectious hooks to coexist with crushing breakdowns and energetic two-step sections.
