Emerging artists, established creatives and music industry professionals will have the chance to connect, collaborate and expand their creative horizons when Conscious CONNECTS takes over Campbelltown Arts Centre on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
The free event is designed as a practical and welcoming space for people looking to build their careers across music and the wider creative industries. Rather than simply offering panels and presentations, Conscious CONNECTS puts participation at the centre of the experience, giving attendees opportunities to gain hands-on skills, meet industry professionals and discover new pathways forward.
This year’s program focuses heavily on creating opportunities and learning how to make the most of them. Participants can explore everything from developing sustainable creative careers and getting music in front of triple j Unearthed to building stronger live shows, discovering unconventional performance spaces and preparing for the stage alongside Timomatic.
There will also be plenty of opportunities for attendees to put what they learn into practice. The Open Mic Cypher, presented by Bodega Collective, will give performers the chance to step onto the stage, while AWWW will provide free press photography for creatives looking to strengthen their professional image.
For those interested in music production, River Road Creative Academy will offer attendees the opportunity to record a track, adding another hands-on element to the day’s program.
A series of free workshops will further expand the event’s educational offerings, with MusicNSW, New Gen Artistry, Day One Builds and Mentor Academy covering topics ranging from producing your own music to developing the skills needed to deliver an engaging live performance.
The event will also feature drop-in industry stations, allowing attendees to have one-on-one conversations with professionals and organizations working throughout the creative sector. These informal sessions provide an opportunity to ask questions, seek advice and make connections that could help shape the next stage of an artist’s career.
Adding to the day’s creative energy will be live performances from Timomatic, RIAH, T1LL0W, PA777IENCE, 84 HeARTz and The Collective Reality.
