For more than three decades, Hot Water Music has built its legacy on sacrifice, loyalty, and camaraderie—values that have remained at the heart of the band’s music since day one. Rather than celebrating 30 years with a greatest hits-style release or leaning into nostalgia, the band chose to push forward. Their latest album, Vows, showcases that mindset, expanding their signature punk sound with fresh arrangements, melodic influences, and an impressive lineup of collaborators.
The record features guest appearances from Brendan Yates and Daniel Fang of Turnstile, Thrice, Dallas Green of City and Colour and Alexisonfire, The Interrupters, and Popeye Vogelsang of Calling Hours and melodic hardcore pioneers Farside. Together, those collaborations help make Vows one of the band’s most adventurous releases to date while staying true to the sound fans have come to know.
The momentum continued in late 2024 with the release of Hot Water Music’s four-song split EP alongside Quicksand. The project includes each band’s take on songs from Quicksand’s Slip and Hot Water Music’s No Division, while also introducing two previously unreleased tracks: “Supercollider,” Quicksand’s first new song since 2021’s Distant Populations, and “Undertow,” a Hot Water Music track recorded during the Brian McTernan-produced Vows sessions.
Hot Water Music will be hitting the road throughout 2026 with a run of tour dates. Check out the full list of upcoming stops below.
