A new live music getaway is redefining the traditional concert experience. Up Close & Campy brings fans together for all inclusive weekends where intimate performances, artist storytelling, comedy, outdoor adventures, and the spirit of summer camp come together in one immersive setting.
Held at Pennsylvania’s Camp Starlight, the series was developed through a partnership between Full Access Strategy and Burgers & Dogs. The idea was born from a shared vision of creating meaningful artist fan connections while recapturing the sense of community, nostalgia, and adventure that makes summer camp unforgettable.
Rather than simply attending a show, guests spend an entire weekend alongside artists, enjoying campfire singalongs, candid conversations, recreational activities, and shared meals in a relaxed atmosphere. The all-inclusive packages include accommodations, chef prepared dining, live performances, and a variety of outdoor experiences designed to encourage connection and lasting memories.
Although transportation to Camp Starlight is not included, attendees have several travel options, including a private charter bus departing from New York City and easy access through nearby regional airports.
The concept made its debut in June with Camp Dennen, an intimate weekend hosted by singer-songwriter Brett Dennen. Following the success of the inaugural event, the experience is already slated to return in 2027, with dates to be announced.
The collaboration combines the strengths of David Miller, founder of Full Access Strategy and owner of Camp Starlight, whose decades of experience running a premier summer camp helped shape the setting, with Jordan Burger of Burgers & Dogs, whose background in immersive fan events helped transform the concept into a one-of-a-kind music experience that extends far beyond the stage.
