Deryck Whibley’s Walking Disaster Clothing Brand Unveils Third Design Collection

Released on July 31, 2026, the latest drop continues the brand’s punk-inspired aesthetic and is available through the official Walking Disaster website.

The collection arrives following a memorable appearance at Vans Warped Tour Long Beach, where Walking Disaster made its presence known with a larger than life Deryck Whibley mascot roaming the festival grounds. The mascot interacted with fans, handed out exclusive Walking Disaster laminates, and became part of the action by jumping into the crowd during a mosh pit after Whibley made a surprise appearance performing “Fat Lip” alongside The Paradox.

Combining nostalgia, punk culture, and Whibley’s unmistakable creative identity, the latest Walking Disaster release continues to bridge the gap between music and fashion.

The newest Walking Disaster capsule introduces a 10-piece lineup featuring fresh apparel and accessories, including two graphic tees, a muscle tee, crewneck sweatshirt, bucket hat, flag, long-sleeve design, and four new sock styles. Staying true to the brand’s punk-rooted identity, the collection combines bold visuals with wearable everyday pieces designed for fans who value individuality and self-expression.

Built around themes of rebellion, creativity, and embracing imperfections, each item reflects the fearless attitude that has defined Walking Disaster since its launch. The latest drop continues to expand the brand’s vision of blending music culture with fashion while encouraging fans to stand apart and embrace their own unique style.

Every collection gives us the chance to evolve, refine, and take another step forward with Walking Disaster,” says Deryck Whibley. “This release feels like a major milestone in bringing the original vision for the brand to life.”

Walking Disaster has grown into more than a fashion label — it represents a mindset built around individuality, perseverance, and embracing the unconventional. What started as Deryck Whibley’s longtime passion project has transformed from a simple idea into a full lifestyle brand featuring apparel, accessories, and signature designs created with purpose.

The origins of Walking Disaster trace back to Whibley’s years spent touring, where his interest in creating unique, high-quality clothing began with a personal mission to design the perfect pair of socks. Over time, that creative spark evolved into a complete collection rooted in punk culture, DIY creativity, and attention to detail.

Whibley first imagined launching the brand nearly two decades ago, but his dedication to Sum 41 kept his focus on music. After the band’s chapter came to a close, he found the opportunity to revisit the idea and channel his creativity into a new outlet.

Walking Disaster became a way for me to keep creating,” Whibley explains. “It’s a different process than making music, but it gives me the same feeling of taking ideas in my head and turning them into something real.”
