Freya Skye is entering a major new chapter as the rising pop artist unveils her latest single, “bad taste.” The new track arrives just days before Skye returns to the stage for the next run of her sold-out Stars Align Tour, beginning September 19 in Santa Barbara, California.
“bad taste” has already had a life of its own long before its official release. Skye first introduced the song during her debut headlining performance in New York City, where she performed it acoustically. The track quickly became a standout moment for fans attending the early shows of the Stars Align Tour, with its growing popularity ultimately inspiring Skye to bring the song into the studio for its official recorded version.
The momentum surrounding “bad taste” continues throughout the week. Following the single’s release, the accompanying music video is set to arrive September 17, while fans will also be able to pick up a 7-inch vinyl edition of the song beginning September 18.
Skye is also taking her live career to an even larger international stage. The singer has announced a new headline tour spanning Latin America and Asia, representing her most extensive overseas touring run to date.
