Harvey Street Search’s for Connection and Belonging on New Single “Anywhere”

Raleigh, North Carolina’s Harvey Street are giving listeners another glimpse into their evolving sound with their latest release, “Anywhere,” now available across streaming platforms. The single arrives during a defining period for the five-member band, whose steady rise has been fueled by an extensive touring schedule, an increasingly dedicated audience, and a live show that continues to open doors in new markets.

Rather than telling a straightforward story, “Anywhere” lives in the space between what life looks like today and what someone hopes it might become. The song draws on the desire for a future that still feels distant, exploring the need for connection and the uncertainty that comes with searching for a place to belong. Harvey Street deliberately leave the meaning open-ended, allowing listeners to decide whether the longing at the heart of the track comes from romantic love, friendship, or the desire to find their people.

Created through a collective songwriting process, the single took shape with a central hook introduced by frontman Jerome. The band brought the track to life at Waylon Jennings’ Studio in Nashville, using a combination of live multitracking and individual recording sessions to capture their performance. “Anywhere” serves as an introduction to the next phase of Harvey Street’s musical journey, with a new full-length album currently anticipated for release next year.

The band’s progress has been especially evident onstage. Harvey Street have moved an impressive 20,000-plus tickets through 84 headlining performances, playing across 42 markets and 22 states. More than 15 markets have sold out, including recent first-time sellouts in New York City, Boston, Washington, D.C., Nashville, Atlanta, Charleston, Richmond, Charlotte, and Greenville, South Carolina. What began as a growing presence in their home region has developed into a touring operation reaching audiences across the country.

Their expanding profile has also put them alongside established and rising names in the live music circuit. The group has shared stages with Flipturn, Daniel Donato, Moon Taxi, Arcy Drive, Winyah, Penelope Road, Futurebirds, and The Stews, further establishing themselves among audiences drawn to energetic performances and alternative rock with an emphasis on connection.

Online, that growth has been just as significant. Harvey Street now attract more than 200,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, while their music has accumulated over 15 million streams across all platforms in the past year. These numbers reflect a band continuing to turn the attention surrounding their live performances into a wider audience for their recorded material.

The road remains central to Harvey Street’s plans for 2026, with dates spanning much of the United States. Alongside their busy touring calendar, their new partnership with Deep South Management brings another milestone as they prepare for what comes next. With “Anywhere” now out and a new album on the horizon, the band is building toward a future that promises further expansion without losing sight of the connection that brought listeners to their music in the first place.

For a band whose latest single revolves around the idea of searching for something that feels like home, Harvey Street are finding that sense of belonging in the growing communities forming around their music from packed hometown-area shows to sold-out rooms in cities across the country.
