After more than 12 years away, Major League are officially back with new music. The New Jersey band has released their powerful new single “Heavenly Hell,” marking their first release in over a decade and signaling the beginning of a new chapter for the group.
Blending aggressive riffs, hard-hitting drums, and emotionally charged vocals, “Heavenly Hell” captures the energy of a band reconnecting with their roots while embracing everything that has changed along the way. The track features a dynamic vocal exchange between longtime friends Nick Trask and Brian Anthony Joyce, reflecting the personal journey that brought Major League back together.
The road back to music started with something much simpler: rebuilding a friendship. After nearly 10 years without speaking, Trask and Joyce reconnected with the goal of being completely open and honest with each other. While creating new music was never the original plan, that renewed connection quickly sparked inspiration, leading to new material being shared with longtime collaborator and producer Gary Cioni.
With Luke Smartnick joining on drums, the reunited lineup found a way to capture the spirit of Major League’s early sound while bringing a fresh perspective shaped by years of growth and change.
The band describes “Heavenly Hell” as a song built around patience, honesty, and the process of finding your way back to something meaningful.
“When we first began talking again after 13 years, the only clear goal we had was to be friends again,” the band shares. “This song is proof that some things never really leave the table.”
Fans will have the chance to experience the new track live this summer as Major League joins Belmont on tour. The run includes upcoming stops in cities such as Atlanta, Richmond, Washington D.C., New York City, and Pittsburgh.
