Offset is teaming up with Don Toliver for “Every Night,” a seductive new collaboration that blends nostalgic R&B influences with the darker, distorted sounds of modern hip-hop. Released alongside the announcement of Offset’s upcoming album, GMFU, the track sets the stage for his next chapter, arriving October 23 through Motown Records.
Built around a sample of Jodeci’s 1995 hit “Freek’n You,” “Every Night” reimagines the classic’s sensual atmosphere through a contemporary lens. Producer Jaasu brings together gritty synth textures, heavy-hitting drums, and a hazy instrumental backdrop, giving the song a late-night energy that feels both nostalgic and unapologetically modern.
Offset leads with confident delivery and flirtatious lyrics, leaning into the track’s romantic themes while maintaining the sharp, charismatic flow that has defined his solo work. Don Toliver adds another dimension with his distinctive melodic style, creating a seamless contrast between the two artists before Offset returns to revisit the song’s R&B-inspired foundation.
The collaboration brings together two artists whose approaches to hip-hop complement one another, with Offset’s commanding presence meeting Toliver’s atmospheric vocals over production that balances smooth melodies with a rougher edge.
“Every Night” also offers a preview of what listeners can expect from GMFU, Offset’s next full-length release, scheduled to arrive October 23. By drawing inspiration from a beloved ’90s R&B record while reshaping it into something distinctly contemporary, Offset and Toliver deliver a collaboration built around chemistry, nostalgia, and after-dark appeal.
