On June 29, 2026- To Write Love on Her Arms will celebrate its 20th anniversary with many artists, advocates, and partners who have helped to amplify its mission over the years at a special screening of their powerful documentary “To Write Love” on Friday, July 24 from 7-8PM PT at the Art Theater of Long Beach (2025 E 4th Street).
Tickets are available to purchase now at the LINK HERE. All proceeds will directly help fund mental health care this year through our Treatment & Recovery Program.
Following the screening, TWLOHA founder Jamie Tworkowski will be joined by Vans Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman, along with other special guests, for an open and honest conversation about the journey to this moment and why this work remains urgent today. Every ticket sold and every seat filled helps move the organization closer to its goal of funding 20,000 hours of mental health care.
“We’re incredibly grateful to celebrate 20 years and to share the ongoing story of this movement. The documentary weaves together the voices of the people who kept fighting for this conversation, for their own stories, and for their communities. What you experience in this film is a true picture of what happens when thousands of people start to believe that it’s not weak to ask for help, and that sharing our stories gives others permission and courage to do the same.” – Executive Director Lindsay Kolsh
“This movement has played a significant part in why the conversations around mental health are no longer ones people feel they have to keep quiet. We made this documentary with the hope that it moves anyone still sitting in silence. We want people to know that hope is real, help is real, and your story matters,” Kolsch adds.
