Hardly Strictly Bluegrass (HSB) has unveiled another wave of artists set to join its highly anticipated 2026 festival lineup, bringing even more musical variety to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park from Friday, October 2, through Sunday, October 4.
Celebrating its 26th year, the beloved free festival continues its tradition of showcasing an eclectic mix of artists and sounds from across the musical spectrum. Newly announced performers include Miko Marks, Alison Brown, Crosby Collective, Fantastic Cat, The Record Company, Tony Kamel & Kym Warner, Wreckless Strangers, Steve Poltz, The Third Mind, and Martha Scanlan & Jon Neufeld.
Fans recently got an early taste of the expanded lineup through a special artist medley, now available via the official Hardly Strictly Bluegrass app and festival website. More performers are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks. For Miko Marks, returning to Hardly Strictly Bluegrass carries a particularly personal meaning. Living just across the bay in Oakland, Marks says performing at the festival had been a dream for years before finally becoming a reality in 2024.
Marks shared her excitement about coming back for the 2026 celebration, saying she and her band are looking forward not only to performing, but to spending the weekend surrounded by fans, friends, fellow musicians, and the unique sense of community that has made HSB a Bay Area tradition for more than two decades. Rather than simply being another festival appearance, Marks sees the weekend as an opportunity to slow down, connect with people, discover new artists, and fully appreciate the special community experience that Hardly Strictly Bluegrass has continued to create year after year.
