NYC-based artist Body Stuff is set to release its sophomore album, Body Stuff 5, on October 16, 2026. The eight-track record explores themes of struggle, hope, and personal growth while delivering the project’s biggest and most powerful sound yet.
The album blends massive drum grooves inspired by the energy of classic New York summers with explosive double bass moments, shimmering guitar work from Andee Blacksugar of Blondie, and unexpected touches of organ, trumpet, and church bells. The result is a mix of heavy rock, post-punk attitude, and arena-sized emotion.
At the center of Body Stuff is Reynolds’ commanding voice, delivering each lyric with intensity and vulnerability. His songs draw from decades of life in New York City, reflecting on memories, hardships, and the moments that make survival meaningful. While the album explores darker experiences, it ultimately carries a message of resilience, gratitude, and love.
Recorded with longtime collaborator Ryan Jones and mastered by legendary engineer Ted Jensen (Metallica, Madonna, The Rolling Stones), Body Stuff 5 represents a new peak for the project. It’s a deeply personal album built around passion, perseverance, and the power of giving everything to the music.
