WELKER and NO STATIC Turn Up the Swagger With Dancefloor-Ready Collaboration “Hot Girl Walk”

Two distinct voices in the electronic scene collide as Brazilian-born, Los Angeles-based producer WELKER teams up with New York’s NO STATIC for “Hot Girl Walk,” a new single released through Insomniac’s IN / ROTATION.

The collaboration finds common ground between the hypnotic character of indie dance and the harder rhythmic impact of tech house. Rather than settling into one lane, “Hot Girl Walk” constantly plays with that contrast, delivering a track that feels equally suited to a packed club, a festival stage or the pivotal moment in a DJ set when the energy needs to shift upward.

A commanding female rap vocal provides the track’s personality, bringing an unapologetic attitude to the production. Around it, WELKER and NO STATIC construct a punchy arrangement filled with booming plucks, buzzing synth textures and gritty saw-wave exchanges. The groove remains at the center, giving the track its momentum while the production keeps introducing small sonic twists that prevent it from feeling predictable.

For WELKER, the track was built around versatility as much as impact.

“Hot Girl Walk” started with the idea of making something sexy, catchy, heavy, and full of groove,” WELKER explains. “It can fit into different moments of a set—it can transition into something heavier, but it can also be strong enough to open or close a set.”

That flexibility is one of the collaboration’s strongest qualities. “Hot Girl Walk” doesn’t rely on a single massive drop or obvious payoff. Instead, it establishes a confident rhythmic identity and lets the combination of vocal attitude and club-focused production carry it forward.

NO STATIC sees the track as a meeting point between two styles that increasingly overlap within modern dance music.

“Hot Girl Walk” is the perfect blend of tech house and indie dance, with a confident female vocal that delivers a unique moment on both the dance floor and the main stage,” says NO STATIC.

The release adds another chapter to WELKER’s increasingly visible run within electronic music. After spending years studying the mechanics of commercial music, he eventually redirected that experience toward the underground, developing a sound that moves between indie dance, house and techno.

That evolution has already translated into significant chart momentum. His previous three releases have reached the Top 3 on Beatport, while “Ice In My Eyes” spent more than a month at No. 1 on Beatport’s Indie Dance chart. His growing catalog includes collaborations with TOBEHONEST, HILLS and Broken Hill, alongside support from artists including Max Styler, Solomun, Vintage Culture, Massano, Innellea and Adam Ten.

WELKER is also continuing to take his music on the road with his Fall Tour, which includes appearances at events and venues such as Boo! Seattle, Double Dragon, LowBrau, Rum Runners London, Zebbies, Azure, Aloft, Anejo, AVA, Mosaic, Studio 60 Miami and Seismic Dance Event 9.0.

NO STATIC has been building his own momentum since emerging in 2022, establishing a sound that moves between tech house and indie dance. Earlier this year, he made his IN / ROTATION debut with Dansyn on “Pressure.” The track has now surpassed 590,000 streams, while receiving radio play from SLAM!, FG Dance, CJSR, Beat 100.9FM, EDM Sessions and BPM Electro.

With “Hot Girl Walk,” WELKER and NO STATIC aren’t simply combining two production styles—they’re finding the space where those styles hit hardest. The result is a playful but muscular club record driven by attitude, groove and enough flexibility to work across different points of a set. It’s the kind of track built to make people move first and ask questions later.
