Christina Aguilera took Halloween celebrations to an entirely different level on October 31, welcoming an impressive lineup of celebrity guests to her annual private Halloween bash, XTINAWEEN. Alongside her fiancé, Matthew Rutler, the pop superstar turned her residence into a hauntingly extravagant carnival-inspired playground with this year’s theme, Creepy Carnival: After Dark.

Designed to transport guests into a twisted world reminiscent of a 1930s traveling carnival, the celebration featured an elaborate haunted maze, carnival games, food trucks, themed food stations, photo booths, tarot readings, a dance floor, and even a bouncy house. Every detail contributed to an atmosphere where vintage carnival nostalgia collided with theatrical horror, creating an experience that was as seductive as it was unsettling.

Aguilera embraced the evening’s theme in a custom fantasy harlequin clown ensemble created by Agro Studio. Her look was brought together by stylist Chris Horan, with makeup by Lora Arellano and hair by Claire Moore, delivering a striking interpretation of carnival-inspired Halloween fashion.

The guest list was equally impressive, bringing together an eclectic mix of music, entertainment, and fashion personalities. Among those spotted celebrating were Chappell Roan, Paris Hilton and Carter Reum, Carmen Electra, Barbie Ferreira, Dita von Teese, Dan Reynolds, Lily-Rose Depp and 070 Shake, Machine Gun Kelly, Tom Morello, Death Grips, XG, and many more.

Behind the elaborate production was Aguilera herself, who personally helped conceptualize, curate, and design the celebration. She partnered with Sterling Engagements, designer Dylan Robbins, set designer Orrin Whalen, and additional creative collaborators to bring her vision to life. The festivities also featured support from Raising Cane’s and MISTR, whose event integrations complemented the carnival atmosphere. Guests enjoyed beverages from Beau Joie Champagne, Astral Tequila, and Crown Royal throughout the evening.

More than just another celebrity Halloween gathering, XTINAWEEN has become an opportunity for Aguilera to explore her creativity beyond music, transforming her personal love of Halloween into an elaborate, immersive production. This year’s Creepy Carnival: After Dark delivered a world of twisted nostalgia, theatrical extravagance, and dark fantasy, making for a Halloween celebration that was anything but ordinary.
