Adéla’s idea of collaborating musically with a former partner may not be so far-fetched after all. Her ex-boyfriend, Henry Morris, has expressed interest in the possibility, suggesting that turning their shared history into music could make for something particularly interesting.
During an appearance on Therapuss with Jake Shane, the singer behind “Nicole Kidman” revealed that she would be open to creating a song with an ex. Now, Henry is weighing in on the idea, telling Page Six that he would happily take part.
“I would totally do it,” he shared. “To just let it out on the mic would be cool, you know? It’d definitely be an interesting song.”
Henry also addressed speculation surrounding Adéla’s track “Starving Artist,” confirming that the song draws inspiration from their past relationship. He revealed that the two recently reconnected and discussed the music they had written about one another during and after their time together.
Their conversation also brought up Henry’s own songs, including “High All the Time,” featuring G-Eazy, and “Rather Fight,” both appearing on his latest album, Kiss Me Extra Hard.
“So, we ended up catching up for a bit, and [the ‘Starving Artist’] song came up and some of mine,” he told Page Six. “We hadn’t talked in so long, and so we just went over the fact that we have been writing some stuff about each other.”
The pair were romantically involved throughout much of 2024 before calling it quits in early 2025. While their relationship may be in the past, their musical connection appears to have left plenty of material behind.
