Lola Leon is turning personal history into a statement of self-expression with her latest release, “Tramp Stamp,” arriving November 4 through Atlantic Records. Created alongside producer and songwriter Oscar Scheller, known for his work with PinkPantheress, Lily Allen, and Kelela, the new track explores the complicated relationship between identity, womanhood, inherited trauma, and the freedom to define yourself.
For Leon, the song carries a meaning that extends well beyond its title. She describes it as a rejection of the judgments placed on women who refuse to conform, while examining the experiences and generational wounds passed down through family histories. Touching on witchcraft, feminine identity, and the distinction between what we inherit and what we consciously choose, “Tramp Stamp” becomes an opportunity to recognize the women who came before her while reclaiming the right to tell her own story.
The release follows an active year for Leon, who previously shared her solo single “T Shirt” and collaborated with her mother, Madonna, on “The Test,” featured on Confessions II. She also appeared on “except in spring,” a collaboration with Venezuelan experimental producer Safety Trance.
Leon first began releasing music in 2022 under the name Lolahol, introducing her artistic direction through a collection of singles before delivering her debut EP, Go, through Eartheater’s Chemical X label. Since then, her creative world has continued expanding across music, movement, and visual art. Beyond recording, Leon has established herself as a multidisciplinary creative with experience in choreography, live performance, fashion, and composition. Her work has taken her to international stages, including Primavera Sound in Spain, while her creative credits include directing the movement and choreography behind the video for “Spelling” and composing an original score for Ottolinger’s AW26 Paris runway presentation.
Her influence also extends into fashion, where she has appeared in campaigns for major houses including Miu Miu, Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Jacobs, Burberry, Calvin Klein, and Mugler, while walking the runway for Versace and Bottega Veneta.
With “Tramp Stamp,” Leon continues building an artistic identity that refuses to fit neatly into one category. Instead, she draws from personal experiences, family history, and the freedom to challenge expectations, making this latest release another chapter in an increasingly unconventional creative journey.
